It takes a lot of patience, a lot of trust and a lot of lube. If you’re completely relaxed it can be very rewarding for both. I’d recommend getting used to lots of anal play before that, e.g. fingers (short fingernails) or toys… get used to the sensations and the pleasure, before you go all out.
