Does a tounge pericing hurt?

its wont hurt a all I did mine by accident hard to believe I was fiddling with a thumb take and I put a lil bit of pressure and it whet in a bit so I just went all the way through and it didnt hurt the next day it did

It all depends on your pain tolerance, some say it hurts a lot and others claim they barley felt anything. So, there’s no way of knowing if its going to hurt you personally.

I got mine pierced with a 14 gauge barbell probably 7 years ago, and since then I’ve gauged it to a 6 gauge.

It didn’t hurt to get it pierced… the only thing that may get you is when you see the needle sticking through your tongue while he’s getting the barbell ready to go in the hole, other than that.. it’s no big deal at all.

Take some ibuprofen about 30 minutes before you go in, and get stuff like ice, slushes, cold cold things to eat and drink to help avoid the swelling. Mine swelled bad enough I couldn’t eat solid food again for about a week. My buddy took more consideration into his swelling and went home that night and had a steak dinner.

The piercing itself doesn’t hurt very much at all… it’s just a bit uncomfortable for a week or so. It’s totally worth it.
