Does a tongue piercing hurt?

I had my tongue pierced on monday and its swelled up quite bad! the piercing itself dont hurt one bit but after it doess for about 3-4 days depending on how you look after it. I have been munching on 20 pieces of ice a day and its fine :) good luck.

uh, you’re stabbing a hole through a muscel, it’s going to hurt. and it’s the worst facial piercing you can get, it chips your teeth rubs away the enamal, causes gingivitis and receeding gums… sounds like fun. lol maybe it’s worth it.

I don’t have my tongue pierced but I’ve heard it hurts really bad and it’s really hard to eat anything at first. I’m guessing it does hurt more because my belly button didn’t hurt at all.

No, my belly hurt. But every one is different. when is got my tongue done it was a spur of the moment type of thing and my belly I knew for like 2 weeks before I got it so I was getting more and more nervous. You feel pain less when your relaxed. So don’t think about it too much.

It hurts as bad as getting a shoot at the doctor.

eat an ice cream or an ice after, something cold so it won’t get so swollen… Don’t worry it doesn’t last long.
