Does a lip piercing hurt to you?

My lip didnt hurt.. I did it last night.. I felt a couple pinches but its nothing I couldnt handle and im 14.. but I did have to change mine from a labret to a ring because the swelling of my lip was too big for it.. but it swells but I doesnt hurt..

omg mine hurt so bad but I took it out I got it 4 my 13 b-day omg I was flipping out but it dont hurt after the 2 day so yea and the pic is a lip piercing

im really scared I want mine doingg so badd ..x im 13 and thing itt will look really nice ! =] I was jw if I should get a ring or a stud I heard that studs sometimes can heal over at the back and you have to have it cut out so which is better ???!! thankks …x [=

I Got My Lip Ring Like 3 Days Ago And It Didnt Hurt I Was Thinking Of The Worse It Was Real Quick But Now Its Like The 3rd Day And It Hurts More Than Getting The Percing But Its Not That Bad.

I got my lip pierced in october ‘07 and it only hurt until I changed it to a smaller bar 3 days later. the only problem with it is when you get it done, if they freeze it for you, you’re left dribbling haha. don’t worry, I had no problems so I doubt you will.

IT DOESNT REALLY HURT JUST FOR A BIT BUT THE SWELLING LASTED ABOUT 3 DAYS AND THE PAIN LASTED ABOUT 3 DAYS ALSO BUT ITS QUICK AND IT LOOKS NICE

it doesnt hurt that much nothing you cant handle but studs are for your ears, what you probably want is a labret the ones with a screw on top it’ll only hurt for a few seconds, while they put the needle in, then the ring and the swelling should go down in about 3 days

Lip piercings dont hurt unless they do it wrong or if its infected. It hurts for like, 2 seconds and then its donee.

I got my lip pierced about 5 days ago. And my lip is still swollen but only when I wake up in the mornings. ): could it be infected?

&& Is it true that labrets heal faster than the ring?

Depends on your pain threshold I think, if youre wossy then yes if youre tough then not so much …aslo depends if they do it right and it dosen get infected…but usually it wont hurt you very much.

I got mine done a week ago &truthfully your lip doesn’t have time 2feel pain until they stick the ring in or stud. Its all over with in a matter of 10min &it doesn’t really hurt until the next day but you’ll b proud of yourself after your done &you’ll love having it. Its a fun piercing. Don’t think about it when you go in there just do it &know you can’t back out now. (:
