Do you think these 'Bailouts' will eventually run into the Trillion

well they probably will unless the president (obama) fixes it quickly but he seems to already be changing things so just get ready the politics are going crazy

Not sure about $trillions (plural) but I have little doubt we will hit a $trillion soon if we haven’t already.

I don’t see any way we could stop bleeding money immediately. I’m not sure how bad things will get before they can be turned around.

To me the biggest thing that I take from this is that the FTC should not let companies get too big to fail. Whenever a company is getting so large that their failure would be catastrophic to our economy it should be broken up. That way we won’t find ourselves over a barrel due to their malfeasance.

with our president-elect, and the strength of the dems in the house , the skies the limit…giving more to aig now means that EVERYBODY is going to have their hand out, looking for the same, and how do they refuse them?…hang on guys, we’re in for a little turbulance…especially with emmanuel ( who worked for freddie mac - made about 15million off of it) on board…

If Obama decides to change that, get ready! I’m sure the Bail outs will go into the trillions. But, we’ll see what happens. Let’s hope Obama doesn’t do anything crazy. Or, for that matter, the democratic congress themselves.

…I’m going to lead the march on Washington & call to impeach whoever is sitting in the oval office at the time, irregardless of their political party, views on life, or how well they can OR can’t speak in a public forum.

I’m already seriously pissed about it, and I’ve had enough.

anyway, I agree with toadaly, I think the bailout is already in the trillions. Thank you Bush and congress
