do you think he might like me? (sorry its long)

I’ve liked this guy pretty much completely throughout at least 4 years.. I know, looong time… hes not friends with girls, and still doesnt talk to them much in gr. 9. hes never kissed a girl, or had a real girlfriend. but here are some things hes done throughout the years, good things first then things im not sure if they mean anything, and then negatives -told me I was the only girl he’d ever want to dance with ( at school dance lessons, when we were quite little.. like gr. 4 maybe) -he put his arm around me (gr 7 ish)

• he winked at me randomly when I saw him looking at me (gr 8) -he put his arm around me again, while trying to get me to give him a cookie (gr 8) -I was trying to cover his eyes from behind, and he turned around and gave me a big hug, but he doesnt really talk to girls and definitely doesnt hug them or anything (gr 7 I think) -I’ve seen him looking either at me or in my direction many times -he asked me to dance at our graduationso we slowdanced for more then one song, and then told me my hair smelled nice
• he stayed with me the whole time I couldnt find my roomates (to get the key to our room on our grade 8 grad trip) -also on the grad trip, he said I’d be lucky to date someone in our grade ( we’re in the same grade, but I skipped gr. 3 so I’m a year younger) I don’t know if that would be considered an insult or a hint that I’d be lucky to date him? -so since everyone teases me about me liking him, obviously hes heard at least some of it.. so according to one of my best friends, on the grad trip he said ‘omg she DOES like me’ because he thought I was following him at the hotel pool since we were always in the same area (sauna, pool, hot tub) to be honest, I kinda was planning it out a bit.. but yeah I worry because it didnt sound like he was happy about it

so after all this, now we hardly even talk.. we only have one class together though, and I still see him looking at me sometimes I really miss him, & I want to at least be friends because we’ve had some good memories do you think he still might like me? either way, how can we become friends?
