Do you believe that God is coming in 2012?

Soon, sooner, later, latest…it doesn’t matter as long as you are ready, right? So, the question should really be ‘are you ready for the second coming of Jesus?’

Personally, I believe it will be very soon because of the signs given to show when the end is near. God bless

I hate how preachers and such, try to predict it, and say when its going to happen, but in the bible it says that we aren;t supposed to know, and that we dont. so no offense, but those preachers just need to shut up, and live their lives. How do you know that the space program has proven that there is no God? Can the space program see everywhere in the 180 billion light year (800 Sextillion mile) Universe? Can it see every planet around the 70 sextillion stars. If God was the size of a normal man, could the space program see a normal-sized man on all of the decillions of planets and moons revolving around the 70 sextillion stars in the Universe? From what I heard NASA can’t see crap. They talk about a lot of missions like SIM Terrestial Planet Finder, Project Longshot, Project Dadelus etc, but they have been promising these projects for over a decade, so I doubt NASA will ever live up to its claim. NASA is just fantasizing.

I agree with anonymousasker, I’m a christian and can’t stand the people who keep saying he’s coming soon, he’s coming soon. I don’t think it’s going to be THAT soon. The human race is in it’s teenage phase, and even though it looks like we could end up committing suicide with all these wars and people wanting nuclear weapons and such, we still have a long way to go before we mature. So we’re not ready yet. Just live your life in a just way and don’t worry about it. If it happens, you’ll be ready. If it doesn’t happen, you’ll have lived a good life and been a great example to everybody else.

What…Came back as another baby ? I had a baby in 2000 so is it mine? Why would he come back as another baby when no one knows. I think he has waited sooo many yearrs to make a grand entrance why come back as an infant?

Can not see how he will just break through the clouds and stare at us? Too wierd for my liking but as I say each to their own. Im all for people needing to believe in something.

The funny thing is all Christians say Jesus Christ is coming soon, and they have been saying this for hundreds of years. I just wonder what does soon mean? I need a date. Is soon 1 year, 10 years, a thousand years, a quadrillion years, a Giggolplex years? When is soon? Soon is relative and so it is up to interpretation as to whether God will come in 1 year of 10 billion years. So the word “soon” is not of any help because it could refer to any amount of time.

Coming down from where? The space program has pretty much proven that there are no gods are living in the sky.

Modern Christians, unlike those who wrote the Bible’, have been forced to place Heaven ‘outside’ nature to get around this problem, but the men who wrote the Bible literally believed God lived in the sky, which is why they depict Jesus as coming down out of the clouds.

I believe that Jesus Christ will come back, there is no question about that. but all the prophies concering his return are not fufilled yet. When they are he will come not until. Nobody knows the day or the hour so for some one to set a date is foolish. many in the past have done that and they have all been wrong. We should be prepared all the time because death comes the same way, unexpected?
