Do you believe in horoscopes?

I was reading mine for today and it said “Reach out to someone you haven’t seen or heard from in a while – most likely someone far away. You’re in the right place emotionally to make the connection and they should respond quite well.”

I mean I know who I could “reach out to” that I haven’t heard from in forever, just scared to. Does anyone ever follow what these say? Have they actually worked out?

Answer #1

rnealw: If they were always wrong, that would mean they actually predict things. Not really you got one right answer and a miilion wrong ones, So they are only correct in giving 1 out of a million wrong choices, So they predicted nothing.

Answer #2

Eh, I’m iffy on that. It’s kind of funny thougn I always seem a day a head of my daily horoscope, lol. Though my over all horoscope & zodiac seem to describe me quite well, so maybe.

Answer #3

How is that advice different for your sign than any other? Wouldn’t that advice be legitimate regardless of what day of the year you were born?

That’s how horoscopes work. They just make vague statements and give vague advice that could work for anyone.

Answer #4

I’m a firm believer in horoscopes. Although, I’ve gotten the same reading that you have once. Sometime’s my readings will be happening while I’m reading it, other times it will happen days later or has happened days before. I don’t follow through but I do keep what I read in mind

Answer #5

well sometime I read them & sometimes they make sense & other times im like what the f*ck?

so..I guess it all depends on your beliefs

Answer #6

Horoscopes are based on a discredited view of the solar system, and vague ideas about the movement of the planets somehow relating to our actions. As toadaly points out, they’re phrased such that it’s easy to see them as being fulfilled by your daily life, no matter what happens.

In blind tests, taking real horoscopes and juggling them around so they’re no longer for the signs they originally were, people found them to be just as accurate as their ‘real’ horoscopes.

Answer #7

lol, it is complete bullsh*t but I still try and impliment what they say into my daily life. They say that love is in the stars, I’ll see a girl I like and go for it when I normally wouldn’t. and this is just a coincidence but one day mine said I’d rekindle an old relationship. when I was going to a party my car died near an old friends house. I had noother option but to see her, lol

Answer #8

Absolutely not. Think about it … twelve paragraphs to describe the world’s population. Obviously there will be some hits, especially as horoscopes are vague. And another thing, horoscopes are always upbeat even though there are horrible things that happen all the time. (On 9-11 how many horoscopes in New York warned of dire catastrophe?)

Answer #9

Yes, I believe they are always wrong. .

Answer #10

Mine are acc always truee haa. so yeah I do ;) :P
