do you believe in GOD?

I mean what makes you believe in the concept of GOD? or are you an atheist?

Answer #1

seek him and you will find him. read that bible.

Answer #2

I don’t believe in any gods. The idea seems ridiculous to me, and is so obviously nothing more than ancient myth.

Answer #3

I’m an atheist. I see no reason to believe in the existence of a god any more than I believe in fairies or leprechauns.

“God being pure cannot even look upon sin”

Amblessed loves to quote this paragraph at every opportunity, but has yet to explain how god can be omnipotent, but nevertheless unable to ‘look upon sin’.

Answer #4

I don’t believe in God, simply because there is no evidence (and don’t tell me to look all around at God’s creations - everything we see is the result of evolution and time).

Because I am Buddhist, I have no deity, however, if science can prove that God does exist, then Buddhism will have to change to meet that standard.

If I had solid evidence there was a God, I would believe.

Answer #5

I believe in God cause if I don’t then I’ll have nowhere else to go when I die. Hehe,no, I believe in God for faith reasons. Just not most of the bible mumbo jumbo.

Answer #6

No God does not exist. I figured this was apperant but if he did exist I would ask when will he pay for his sins?

what do I mean? the millions even billions hes slaughtered including young children in the bible alone. for the ridiculous laws of the old testament. Sexism, Raisims, genosiced. and more. by the consept of GOD I am assuming you mean the christian GOD since you use it sinular. I think such a horrable being dosent desirve worship. but he doesnt exsist anyway

Answer #7

I am Pagan. I do not believe in the Christian or Catholic God. I believe in the Goddess and the lesser gods and goddesses. Paganism is an earth based religion that has been around long before Christianity and Catholicism. Another thing I love about Paganism is that we are not bound by a strict code of what rules to follow etc like the Bible tells other religions they must. Pagans are free beings that can worship and praise in their own ways.

Answer #8

I’m agnostic which means that I’m open to believe what can be proven and I’m still waiting… But I think there is an endless sucession of intelligences and capabilities starting with amebas that respond to basic stimulation (cold - hot) to the most brilliant scientist and ¿up? Were we created by a group of scientists trying to combine intelligence with an animal able to live on Earth? -let’s say some sort of ape?- Was it a powerful God who created us as it’s said in the Bible? I’m still waiting for an answer.

Answer #9

I believe in God. It’s just the way I am being raised I guess. I think that there is no way that the earth just formed. I mean the first thing EVER in the who entire universe, and whatever the heck is beyond that, it had to start with something…things don’t just pop out of nowhere. Another reason that I believe in God is because there are things that have happened to me and there is no way that they couldn’t have happened unless there was somebody…not on this earth helping me…I’m only 13 but I believe in God very strongly. Nobody can change my mind:)

Answer #10

I believe in god I always have and I will never not believe in him when I am older I am going to tack my kids to church for ever

Answer #11

I don’t understand how anyone can not… believe in God.

Answer #12

Answer #13

Answer #14

im a atheist… I dont believe in god or anything along the lines of it lol x there nothing that proves there is a god … if people think that god is such a great and powerful one then why is there so much suffering and badness in the world?

Answer #15

silverwings””I don’t understand how anyone can not… believe in God.”” I dont understand why anyone would and if they did why they think such a horrable being is worth worship

Answer #16

I definitely believe in God - here’s what I’ve learned over the years to be true: God being pure cannot even look upon sin - man, even in his very best state is a sinner - on judgement day, either: your sins are covered by the blood-shed sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross (salvation and only salvation - being a nice person isn’t good enough - even at our very best, we are but filthy rags), and remembered no more or they are not (your sins are not covered) - where God’s great love comes into play is, He provided a WAY (Jesus) for us not to perish and live in Heaven with Him (He certainly didn’t have to do this but did because He loved us so) - if you read carefully John 3:16, this is exactly what it says - each person will either accept or reject, you must decide for yourself and yes, it’s so important, it has eternal consequences - He Loves you and wants you to accept God’s free gift to man - Jesus - ‘if you are a truth seeker, then you will find Jesus’…I wish you the best !!
