Do spiders eat fruits?

I was picking cherries in my backyard and found a big fat hairy multicolored spider on the cherry I was so close to picking. Is it poinsonous?

no, they dont eat fruit but they can live in and on variouse places inlcuding on fruit and since many bugs and insects go on fruit and on fruit trees its a prety good place to find there food as for if its poisonouse I dont know youd need a picture of it if you want to find out what it is or just google spiders in your country and see if its on there as there are different spiders in different countries
