Do I Need To End It?? :( help):

Ok me and my Boyfriend have been together for a little over 3 months and I havent seen him a lot lately… Christmas day I got mad because 30 minutes before we were supposed to watch a movie at my place he said his mom needs him to go to his uncles and I got upset b/c I really wanted to see him but it seemed like he didnt have a choice so I apologized for freaking out but this has been happening a lot lately and my mom and friends think he is not showing me that im important to him… also he told me that he liked his bff more than me… this also upset me but at least he was honest… and we havent said “I love you” yet but im pretty sure I do love him(a lot) and dont want to break up with him but I cant not see him. we will go 2-3 weeks without seeing eachother… and I told him that im going to try to wait till marriage or at least as long as possible for sex but he told me that I should tell my mom he’s a good boyfriend b/c he’s not presuring me into sex…this was after her tell me that he is abusing me and my time because I try not to make plans with my friends until I know we cant do anything(he’s usually with his friends) I don’t know what to do… any thoughts???

I would let him now how you feel and stop revolving your life around him until he starts acting the way the way you feel he should. If he realizes he can’t have you whenever he wants, it may make him want you more. Plus you don’t want to lose your friends over a guy

If you two have only been together a few months and you go for up to 3 weeks without seeing each other, there obviously isn’t enough time for you to have really gotten to know him as a partner (even if you’ve known him for years as a friend) and that is not enough time to really love someone. The fact that you are starting to doubt your convictions about waiting to have sex in order to get him to pay more attention, this really is a destructive relationship. If you have to “check with him” before making plans with your friends, he is either too controlling, or if you are just checking “to be sure you can’t be with him instead,” you are LETTING him control you, and they are two different things. Either way, this does not seem like the type of relationship that is worth your time.
