Do I have to mention my felony?

I got 10 years probation I’ve already did 8 and I’m looking for a job but it’s hard now a days if you have a felon so I was wondering when I go apply for a job do I have to tell them that I have a felon when the question pops up even though my attorney said no. I have defered adj. Probation

You have to state it if ask on the application. If you do not it is considered fraud and goes on your perminant work record and will show up every time to try to get a job.

If they ask, I think you are obligated to tell them. They have a right to know what you were convicted for.

yes by law and they find it even if after you are hired because they may take time doing backround checks but they do them by law and you will get fired and sometimes you will recieve more charges for not reporting it
