Dizziness/Losing Consciousness

yesterday I woke up around 10 30 and I showered, got ready, ate pizza, and went to work by 2. around 3 30 I was on the register and I started feeling sick so I tried to finish out the transaction then excuse myself to the back for a drink of water. before I could finish I started getting really dizzy, then everything started getting really blurry to the point where I almost couldn’t stand. I said I have to go in the back and started walking and completely lost vision for about 3 seconds and then could only see I guess the outline of things and colors I remember seeing a rack of mesh pants that came in all different colors and I dont know really remember how I got into the back room and when I got back there they said I was reallly pale and shaking. its scaring me because im about 30 weeks pregnant and that never happened to me before. I can’t get ahold of my doctor so I was hoping sombody on here has had a similar experience or know what happened.

Don’t worry about writing a long question, it’s good that you can give so much information.

My immediate reaction is: are you anemic? That would give the dizziness. And it’s not at all unusual to get anemic (low red bloodcell count) during pregnancy . Your doctor or nurse can fix you up with iron supplements if that’s the problem. DON’T rush off and buy them yourself - check first. A simply blood test at the doctor’s will show.

In the meantime, get more iron in your diet naturally - liver (ugh) but also dates, dried fruits, and (shades of Popeye) spinach are good.

hi I had the same thing before but I wasnt pregnet so… may be it cause you dont eat enough, dont sleep a lot,drink too much water its sure working when your pregnet is exhausting so maybe you need to sit down sometimes it could also be you lack sugar drinking orange juice might helpp
