Is this breast discharge normal?

Please resist the urge to vomit. Anyways yellow gunk came out of my left breast. It has not come out repetitively and it is not liquid. It is more of a dried mucus like substance. It does hurt. I asked my mother and she said that she had had similar happenings and nothing has happened.

You should consult your doctor. He is a professional and can make a better diagnosis than anyone on this site.

Answer #2

well I would atleast call a doctor or pharmacie to ask about this just in case. I havn’t heard of anything like it and I honestly thought the only time things started comming out of ur breast was during and after pregnacy. But I would definatly consider calling a doctor within a week just in case to avoid any health issues.

Answer #3

Does it come out spontaneously? Or does it come out when you touch your breast/nipple? It could be some sort of infection or condition so you should go see a doctor about it to get it treated. Most conditions such as this isn’t serious and is easily treated. But better safe than sorry though. So go get that checked out and good luck.

Answer #4

Go and consult a doctor please.

Answer #5

Nothing comes out. I took the substance out and it has not come back ever since

Answer #6

you said a yellow discharge came out lol

Answer #7

could be a function of your developing mammary glands and the hormones that are shaping you right now. I’m quite obviously male and I lactated a couple times during puberty. lmao I went insane worrying about it then it stopped. blah blah blah consult a physician for valid medical advice…:D

Answer #8

I just went to a physican and she has said it is an infection. Not worried anymore

Answer #9

If you are NOT pregnant and have no problems with hormonal imbalance,

I’d say it’s possibly purulence from an inflammation. Is the breast warmer than the other? Does it hurt when you touch it? Go to a doctor and have it checked. This could do permanent damage to your breast and leave you unable to breast-feed if you ever have kids.

Another possibility is that you have some skin disease there. Are you sure it comes “out of” the breast? Like from the inside? Or is it just some kind of ooze that covers the nipples? Go to a doctor and have it checked.

If you are pregnant, (or if you have a very weird hormonal imbalance that makes your body think it is pregnant ) this could be first milk. And the pain could be milk gland growth. I had first milk in the 4th month of my first pregnancy. And it was yellow-ish, milk-ish discharge that left crusty, dusty stuff in my bra. And it hurt.

Answer #10

Def not if you aren’t pregnant!!

Answer #11

Oh dear, I meant to say it does NOT hurt. I am deeply sorry
