my 3 yr old blk lab mix is having a slimmy discharge from her vagina ..is there something wrong or is she going into heat

Is it time for her heat? Usually a dog will go into heat every 7-9 month. If you are not going to breed her then I recommend getting her spayed. Did she ever have a heat yet?

I could be vaginitus…basically a yeast infection…You’ll have to get an ointment from your Vet…

you should take her to the vet. my dalmatian has that and then got really sick she ended up haveing to have a full historectamy (sorry my spelling sucks) we did not even know if she was going to make it off the table. they said if we would have gotton her fixed she would had not had to go threw this. but I forget what it was called she had it is when the utaris swells with infection
