Disadvantages because of Asthma

I am asthma,I don’t find it a big deal, never had to use an inhaler only when the doctor wanted me to for a breathing test, but I find tha I get out of breathe easily when I work out, dance, run etc. I’m not really out of shape,I am definetley not fat,but I get really light headed easily when I work out,and I make sure I breathe correctly becuase you need to when working out,but I get so dizzy. How can I stop this? Or I can’t because I am doomed with asthma?

I have had asthma since second grade I am now 22 and have not had to carry an inhaler since 9th grade. One way to controll asthma is to exercise, I know it might be hard but if you push yourself it is almost like a second wind. If I dont exercise for a while then start again I have bad asthma attacks but I push myself through it and eventually can do it without much trouble. Also if you drink a lot of sodas cut down on those, and eat and drink a little more healthier. When you do have an asthma attack try taking deeper slower breaths, put your hand on top of your head, drink water, if you are inside go outside get some fresh air. Asthma is hard but there are ways to keep it from controlling your life and even with asthma you can still do anything you want. In highschool I played pretty much every sport, like volleyball, basket ball, soccer and track. I also love to snowboard swim, hike, mountain bike and just flat out exercise. So you can do what you want, dont let it stop you. GOOD LUCK
