what is Diptheria,Tetanus and Polio ?
i had all these jabs when i was younger but today i had a booster jab for those 3. what are they? and can you get them at any age? ive tried researching them but what they say confuse me
Diptheria is a bacterial infection that affects respiration, Tetanus, is commonly known as “lockjaw” and attacks the nerves and muscles, and Polio is a viral infection that causes paralysis and can result in death.
Can you catch them at any age? because ive heard its only children who get it.
You can catch them at any age, but once you’ve been fully vaccinated as a child, you’re no longer at risk.
