Is it possible to use a digital camera for my project?

Hey guys…

I have this project that I am working on where I need to record myself speaking for about 5 minutes. I have a digital camera that records pretty well. My ultimate goal is to take the short snippets and have them put together as a documentry. Is this possible if I was to send the recording to an film editor? Please help!

I am suppose to began recording later on today.

It’s possible, but it will cost. If you only need sound most mp3 players will do the job. If you need visual, webcams will also work, or if you can get or borrow a camcorder that will give the best quality.

Also very doable is to put snippets together yourself with software. Sorry, I’ve used programs to do that but I can’t remember their names.
