If we're all in God's image, why are we so different?

God created us in His image,yes, but think about it if He created all of us the same and not different how would it be? would it be cool or boring? boring because we would all be the same. there are prob diff races(asian,hispanic,black,etc…) because Adam and Eve had some of those features like Adam means red so he prob had reddish skin and Eve couldv’e been black then they had 56 children and each one could of looked different like one would look irish,one would look asian,one black,etc…there’s prob girls because God wanted to make a partner for man so He made Eve out of Adams ribs, and I’m not exactly sure about the passages(I think some where in genesis and exodus) but the changing of the languages and people going to diff countries had to do with (I think) nebacunezer(not the right spelling of course) but he wanted to create the tower of babel so he could overthrow God but God was angered so He confused the languages

Our spirit/soul is created in God’s image - our physical body is ‘fearfully and wonderfully’ made by Him - each person in that respect is unique unto themselves - there has never been before, nor will there ever be a person exactly like you again…Hope this helps !!

there are black/white/hispanic/asian/ because of evolution, and spreading of our species adapting to different climates etc. the bible doesnt mention other races, seems like they were avoiding them. the bible wouldn’t tell you the correct answer anyway.

In my eyes, I think we basically have the same genetic make-up and the same genetic features. I think specific characteristics comes from where our ancestors originate from giving us our unique idenity.

But since nobody knows what ‘a soul’ looks like, they usually assume the Bible means ‘physically’ in his image. Its easier for children in Sunday school to understand; but then it sometimes carries over into adulthood

“image” and “likeness” of God presumably gives rise to a mental concept of “form” from the human perspective. We must be aware of the concept we hold of “God” -Not as one Being - but as - Spirit, Divine Mind, Life, Love the “Source” of All - “I’m the Alpha and Omega” …All that exists -the Univers (visible, Invisible) is the manifestation of the Spirit, - God is everywere.

“God” is not a Being but the Source of all beings. “God” has no image, yet All images are manifestations of the Spirit. “Mind, Spirit” are attributes of the soul an not the brain (brain, body is outcome of Mind, consciousness). I would prefer ..-with same “attributes” as… we have or Are “Life” itself that does not end, only changes Form, like “Energy” .

We are like a ray from the Sun, Light itself ..from Infinite to Finite back to Infinite.

God is creator or a self creator eternally. All of us a made from different aspects of him. Every one of us, is different and unique. Pretty, beautiful, plain jane and all. All of us are! Not just the boys. (not to say that boys can’t be those either, but eh?)… Every difficulty we face, even the “losers” show a different development over time. And they do show something, that although only that person can comprenend. All of us show a different aspect of what God is… We are all just different varients, of the same God.

According to the Bible, God’s glory (shekinah) and wisdom (chokkmah) are both feminine. I think believers give their gods too little credit sometimes.

What makes you think God is a MAN? And further still, why would GENDER be a requirement for an eternal spritual being?

God said let us create man in our own image, “our” meaning Father,Son,Holy Spirit. we are three in one also body, soul, and spirit.

We aren’t made in a “Gods” image, we simply inharit genes.
