What is the difference between hi-lights and low-lights?
They look the same to me.
Highlights r a lghter color and low lights r a darker form
Like high beams and low beams on your car.
High-lights brighten your hair by adding colors that are 2 to 3 shades lighter than your natural color.
Low-lights do the opposite by adding slightly darker colors that deepen your hair color.
highlights lighten and brighten your hair colour, while lowlights darken and deepen it. Common highlighting colourss include blonde, gold and (which my sister had in her black hair), while lowlights are likely to be reds, plums and auburn shades.

Hi-lights lighten your hair 1-2 shades with powder-lightener (bleach), whereas low-lights use permanent or midway colour to give darker results.
