Would you rather die by burning or by drowning?

I don’t appreciate my lungs getting filled up with water :) Yeah it’s a hard choice for me tho.

hmm how bout none? :D but if i had to choose probably drowning…. you loose air pretty quickly so become unconsciousness. Also because when your drowning and theres no one around you theres nothing you can really do anymore, or at least in my opinion.xD

Drowning, I’d be knocked out first and then die and wouldn’t have to suffer the immense pain of burning to death.

Hm. Depends on how hot the fire is. If you burn to ashes in a nuclear explosion, that will take probably less than a second. If you are hanging feet up above a brazier filled with smoldering coals, that may be a very durable pain.

Same with drowning. If you are knocked unconscious and then drop into the water and just fade away, there is not much pain in it. If you have your feet in a block of cement and are thrown into the port basin by your enemy, the mafia thug, then I guess death will be prolonged, scary and painful.

i agree with you :) but.. :P if you drown even not being knocked out, you loose air quickly because no oxygen gets to your brain, so u will become unconscious relatively quickly

Being burned alive would be worse. Drowning you know that there is nothing you can do, and there would be a sense of uselessness. The same could be said about being burned alive though. When your body gives out from the damage it has taken, accompanied with the pain of being burned, the flames would be far worse than being drowned.

Depends on how the burning is done. In a burning building the majority of people pass out long before the flames get to their bodies. Even being burned at the stake. You pass out because of the carbon monoxide. With the exception of actually being lit on fire, I would rather die by fire.

Drowning, I saw a movie once (according to greta) where they said that death by drowning was almost euphoric, like dreaming. While burning to death sounds a bit to much like a precurser to hell. But if i could choose how to die, i would want to get in a car crash with a water melon truck, then survive, get out of my car, and get hit in the head by a water melon… (thats how i died in me and my friends game of mash and it just sounded so hilariouse :D )

I would rather die burning. As an asmatic I have a great fear of dying from lack of air.
