Did I do the right thing?

OK, know this guy(guy A), He and I have like everything in common, We do everything the same, I know him since 8th grade in middle school. Now we go to the same college. Studying the same thing.. We never went out or anything, He knew I had a boyfriend, But I ended up breaking up with him… He was an @ss-whipe, And then guy A started like talking to me and trying to make me feel better. I thought he was hitting on me, I did kinda let him on tho… So I tell him to back off, That I don’t want to date anyone else, For a long time… No he is mad… And he hasn t talked to me for a long time, I did have some sort of feelings for him… But I didn’t want to go out with anyone… He says he wasn’t hitting on me, But yeah… Did I do the right thing telling him to back off?

totally you were not ready but maybe you should of said it more gentley and then he would still tlk to you I made the same mistake just differently but I think you had every rite to tell him to back off bre30

yes dont do anything you are not ready for thats the worse thing you could do

so yes you did the right thing and im glad you did when you wernt ready it would of been worse of if you did go out so yea he’ll get over it and it will be ok
