Yes, once again, it is called depression… or if you want the official diagnosis, unipolar or clinical depression… Jaes we’ve been over this several times, you have a problem. It isnt going away on its own, and it cant just disappear. This is not an illness you can wait out and hope you’ll snap out of. It isnt going away. Until you go get help, you can phrase it in as many ways as you want (and I realize that you’re looking for a bit of comfort, and to hear us say it’s going to be ok) but in the long run, nothing we do can help… It’s a disease, just like any other physical disease and you need to get help for it. There is no reason for you to have to suffer like that. I’ve read you’re advice, you’re funny and smart and you seem like a good person. I honestly think you deserve better than this pain and misery.

Just so you know you’re not alone. I get like that too. I think its beacuse at night you’re all alone & you’ve got time to think about everything. During the day you’ve got stuff to distract you but at night you’re just lying there, I get like that if I’m left on my own. Its beacuse I start thinking about everything thats been going wrong lately. It all builds up during the day & you feel like you have to let it out at night. I guess its better than bottling it all up completely. Just try talking to someone about what could be making you upset or write it all down. I’ve wrote stuff on here & felt so much better afterward beacuse I’ve got it out in the open even if I know people might not listen

I hope I’ve helped!!

hun, this sounds like it’s really consuming you… you really need to get some meds for it, I know that they kind of ‘level’ your mood, but better to be level than sad.

or better still a friend to talk to…do you have anyone you really trust who will care enough to simply listen to you?

who do you see in the evening? maybe try distracting yourself by the company of others… being on your own is only going to make it worse.

I’m sorry things arn’t feeling better, depression really is a long term problem for most, and it’s a case of learning to live with it and notice the signs before they get too strong… but there is light at the end of the tunnell…

Simply a Rose to brighten your day,         And maybe lessen the cares in your way;         And also, too, to help you to know,         That in knowing you, many others grow!

Well, if I lived in the part of Alaska that I think you live in, I’d be depressed year ‘round. Too hot in the summer and way too cold in the winter. Plus, I can take the summer excess of daylight but not the winter excess of darkness. :)
