Day of the Dead is a holiday celebrated in Mexico. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died and to tribute their ancestors.

The day of the dead is a gathering to celebrate the dead and remember loved ones lost. Mexicans cook “dead bread” and have festivals; they visit the graves with flowers and food.. Some sleep there overnight and others leave the food for their dead loved ones. Kids get out of school and everyhting. Its a big thing in Mexico. They were taught to celebrate death and not to be afraid of it.
