Ok, so im in love with my best friend and earlier today, we were texting and he asked if we dated if I thought we would last longer than a week and I told him probably, and I was so sure that he was going to ask me out, but he never did [which was sad] I am sooo sure that he likes me, but I dont know what to do

Ask him out. If you are sure he likes you than make a move. He may be nervous because he thinks you will turn him down. Plus, when guys like someone they get nervous and loose there bravery. Just make your move.

Even if he knows you like him he still may be nervous. Us guys, we make people think that we are all brave and cool but when it comes to relationships and ESPECIALLY girls we are afraid of rejection. If you are sure that he likes you than ask him out and he will. He probably is just to nervous because he is afraid that you don’t like him. It all comes down to fear of rejection and one of you is going to have to be brave enough to say something.
