What are some cute ways to cut over-sized t-shirts?

I looked on youtube but I kinda spaced out, I’ll probably look again later though.

I like to create crocodile teeth with mine, especially if their plain and too long. I just trim one strip from the bottom of the shirt, right above the hemline. Then with a scissor I cut triangles from the bottom like a flat zigzag/triangles. I like the iea that isabella820 mentioned. I also cut the bottom of the shirt into strips and leave them dangling, but beads would look pretty cool. There’s also a really cool way where you can change it into a mini dress. If your interested, heres the website that tells you how its done: http://funadvice.com/r/bhk4irto758

I cut the neck diagonally and the left a bit more down making it look really cool then if its over sized I would tie it up with a bright coloured hair band at the side of the shirt

I think the easiest way to make it into a dress is to cut the sides, not fully, but so that when you lie it out flat with the cuts out, it looks like a shirt with a V sticking out of each side, ending at the sewn part, and then tying those two Vs together behind you, to make the waist of the shirt-dress-thing tight instead of baggy. The trick is to pull the top back a little bit too before you tie it so that it’s not too baggy there. You can do what you like with the sleeves, I would just cut them off and hem the edge so that it doesn’t warp.

One shoulder… cut the entire neckline, so it drapes down both your shoulders (you can wear a whit beater inside.. totally cute look. you get that cute 80s look.. still works today in 2011)

Answer #7

Cut a little of the neck line off to create an “off the shoulder” shirt. Whenever I wear my shirts this way I wear a few long necklaces with them.

Answer #8

you could cut it in a way that it hangs over your shoulder `

for the summer i love cutting the bottom of some boring bagging winter comfortfoodhiding tops.. sewing a hem with my sewing machine, or just leaving it can look nice.. and then tieing it up at the front or back in a big knot. you can cut slots horrizontally across the front or the top and then wear a bright coloured or patterned top underneath. hope this helped :)
