A hug, an “I love you and thank you for everything you’ve done for me, a card and some help with cooking and whatnot during the day would be sufficient.

To be honest it really depends on what kind of relationship you have with your mom. If you have a close relationship with your mom & she loves anything you give her then Katherine Rose is right…as long as it comes from you & from the heart she will love it & appreciate it regardless! On the other hand if you are like me & others like me, whom dont really have a great relationship with our mothers…whom no matter what you get them or how much money they cost you they will constantly complain & b!tch about it. (I am talking from the most expensive gift like jewelery or an expensive crystal vase to a mere 1 stem rose & a card…they will always find something negative to say to you about it! They will never appreciate anything you say or do!

I say just go with your heart…what you feel…and be satisfied with your decision.

I know Mother’s Day is over now but an idea for next year is make her a scrapbook. I made my mom one this year. I wrote a long letter to her and then i put pictures of us from when i was a baby till now. She loved it. She was crying.
