How do i cut my own bangs so they're not frumpy?

I would see a stylist. Its ony about 5 or 10 dollars to cut bangs. I cut other peoples but doing my own would be way to hard. If you screw them up there are not.many.ways you can hide them if you go too short keep that in mind. If you are dead set on doing them yourself use a razor. And razor the ends in small short swipes to give your bangs texture and to keep some length on them. Best of luck!

look on youtube for tutorials , they have some good ones that i used to cut my bangs , if you really cant afford a professional cut then look up youtube for vids and remember not to cut too much hair off , if you then it will take longer to grow back and may leave you with a bad cut,you can use thinning sheers to thin out your bangs , dont cut straight across always cut at an angle , i have cut mine and it came out just fine , but dont cut too much hair off or it will be more noticeable,well i wish you luck and if you mess up then you know for next time,lesson learned in time xxxxx

Use ‘sheer’ scissors, they thin it out and it wont be like a big clump on your face lol. Decent ones are nealy £200 though, which is about $300 sumit I think. Would work out cheaper to just go to a salon.

P.S Do not use a razor as someone else suggested.

I just use a good pair of shears and follow along my eyebrow/eye in a straight line. First I’ll go from left to right, then from right to left. I do it while they are wet, so I can a clean cut. Then after I blow dry, I’ll go back and do nips and tucks; the outcome for me lately has been a blonde Betty Page look. I love it and when I don’t feel like bangs w/ponytails, I just hairspray them back. Good Luck!

I was eaking of a hair razor. They look like scissors. They have a handle and a blade at the end. They are a couple dollars at the beauty store such as sallys. I was not speaking of a blunt ravor or an object in which you use to shave your legs.

Do not cut your bangs. I cut my bangs once and then i just wanted to keep cutting them And i got them too short and it looked really stupid. same happened with my friend.

ok this is what you do…from a 1/2 into your hair line from your forehead take a triangle of your bangs comb them straight up then twist them from the scalp, cut leaving 2 1/2 in of bang….when u let go they will be cut in layers cut into them to get them the right length…dont cut straight across
