I have really curly hair, how do I get it less puffy?

well theres no picture of you or your hair, so its hard to tell what it looks like! and I think that miley chick has waves, not curls or she might have waves that taper down to curls…I have no idea. your mums right, curling irons are powered by heat, and heat damages your hair, but the less time you have them on you the better. it sounds like you want to control your curls. so you need to use either the iron, or roller and go and buy a few creams and products for your hair as well theres a lot of products that can help tame curly hair! just head down to a priceline or similar place, even the beauty section of your local mall

I have the same problem

all I do is wash it then let it air dry and then straighten it. I go out with straight hair and then the next day I curl it with my straightener. If you do this be sure to use heat protection spray or cream.

this way you have your hair done for 3 days.

since you have curly hair you shouldnt wash it more than 1 or 2 times a week it will make your hair very dry which will cause it to get frizzy which will make it look even puffyer. if you dont want to straighten it just let it dry and then put it into a low ponytail[nothing fancy though just a simple one]

hey, there are many things over the counter you can purchase to smooth and rub in your hair. Suave has a great product its only 1.96 at walmart. it lessens the frizz and makes it really soft. its in an orange bottle. try that. you put it in your hair when you get out of the shower and it keeps it contained hope I helped
