My sister has this cool thing from Walmart that makes your hair wavy and it was only $20! It works good too! It kinda gives it that look of when you take your hair out of braids.

I don’t have a specific curling iron to suggest, but I always prefer curling wands. They are so much easier to use, and can be used in many different ways, whereas tongs can get stuck, and can only be used to make one or two different types of curls.
