you should get some kind of heat spray
use heat spray..like sre0713 said you can find them in drug stores or hair/beauty shops
there are special sprays that hellp minimize the damage the heat does to your hair, other than that, use the coolest setting possible and dont use heat styling products as often
this mite sound goofy bt it depends on wat kind of curl by ur last name ur of latino decent (is that pc)well try wetting it and then getting a cold wet towel and scrunch up ur hair from tip to root thats importantand then use those big pink curlers and spray it wit shine
