How do I get over my older and married coworker?

hey i kinda saw a question similar about this with someone having a crush on their teacher. I have a HUGE crush on this guy at my work. Who is married, has 3 kids and almost twice my age. but I really can’t get over him. It’s so much fun to be around him and he’s the coolest nicest guy ever! It’s made work pretty unbearable lately! how do I get over him?

You need to realize that he is married with kids, and nothing will ever happen. And nothing should happen.

If you have an innocent crush on him then keep it to yourself with the knowledge that anything wont happen.. But it seems like a waste of time.. Especially if its making work unbearable.. Also.. The number one rule of work is not to have any kind of romantic relationship with a co-worker.. Its possible to loose your job over that!!

Thank you for the advice…and by the way he is NOT the kind of guy who would have an affair (and I’m not some home-wreaker!) I think part of the reason I like him so much is because he’s so faithful and loving with his family. I feel like I’ve never had that. But you’re right it’s best if I just try to get over him.
