My CRT monitor is not working so should i buy LCD or LED?

In my opinion the best solution to your problem would be to get a full High Definition LED TV, with an adequate number and range of input ports to support the number of external devices you might wish to connect.

They are designed to provide a very high degree of colour purity, and can follow full speed video without blurring.

They provide very wide viewing angles, high contrast ratios, and readily adjustable brilliance (though even on maximum brilliance the TV programmes are still rubbish).

The convenience of being able to operate my computer, in comfort using wireless keyboard and mouse, together with a TV remote to select input sources, image levels, etc., is luxurious beyond compare.

I have been using a 40 inch Full HD TV as my main computer monitor for knocking on two years now, and cannot envisage buying a dedicated computer monitor ever again.

The built in stereo audio is adequate for all but hi-fi music, but since I link the TV’s audio output to a hi-fi power amplifier and decent speakers, the whole system is capable of delivering every audio/visual facility I could possibly be interested in using.
