Keep in mind that everyone’s skin is different so what might work for me may not work for you. So you really got to try a bunch find the best for you.The one I use is actually clean and clear but it is one specific bottle that I use, it is the only thing that ever works for me. It’s the oil free foaming acne wash, it’s in a purple pump bottle. Other products I use, are from Lush I have no clue if you have Lush where you are, but they have quite a few cleansers and you can actually go to the store and request a sample before you actually buy it. Other than that, I just use a St. Ive’s apricot scrub. I would add though, sometimes, a lot of times, less is more. If you use too harsh of a cleanser you end up drying out your skin in turn, your skin will produce even more oils to compensate for the lost oils. So if you have been using harsh cleansers, why not give some milder cleansers a try? Also, though it sounds like it’s supposed to do the opposite, make sure you moisturize and tone. Same concept, if you dry out your skin, your skin will produce more oils, but if you cleanse and then moisturize it will not need to. Just get a gentle and oil-free moisturizer.

If your skin is very oily like mine, firstly it is very healthy, and secondly, it cannot be changed. If you suffer badly from acne you may need an antibiotic. I suffered badly with it on my back and got the odd bad one on my face but a few years of an antibiotic cleared it up. So basically any product that purports to help with oily skin seems suspicious to me. I;m delighted to have oily skin.
