Something went wrong!
Hang in there while we get back on track
coyete
my neighbor had three goats. two were babies. (old enough to go from their mother. he bought them at the auction the night this happened to them) and the other is a grown female. The night we got the two babies a coyete or wild dog attacked them(they were dead next morning) but the weird thing is theres was bareky any blood and the coyete or wild dog didnt even eat them. didnt even take a chunk out of one! why?
If it was coyotes or dogs, they may have snapped their necks…they could have be spooked off by something, and therefore leaving the kill. Dogs hamstring and animal without going for the throat…Wolves and coyotes hamstring to bring the animal down, THEN go for the throat. It depends on the wounds, to decide what may have killed these kid goats.

Phrannie is right on the money with that. Sometimes yotes will kill an animal and leave it be so that they can bring their young to it and use it to teach them. By the way, bears do the same thing. Did you notice any tracks about? Be warned, if they been there once they may come back.
What makes you sure it was a dog?
May have been a heart attack.
