could never give up my bestfriend to fix my boyfriend's insecurity

ok so I’ve been going out with my boyfriend on and off for the last 10 months (like we broke up twice)… and my best friend gary, has always been agaisnt us going out and says im always just gonna get hurt and he cant sit back and watch it happen again… mu boyfriend has a bad rep fr no reason its really frustrating, everyone sees him as a player… the other night we were out at a friends 18th and my boyfriend was so jealous of everyone I talked to, like im just a friendly person and everyone ther were guys im friends with, he says he trusts me its that he doesnt trust anyone else with me.. in the end I ended up crying because he was being so unfair and wanted to start fights with loads of guys and hes not the violent type AT ALL. he had drank a lot but hes always been somewhat protective but that was just ridiculous. it was the first time my boyfriend went out with all of us and I couldnt even talk to gary like I usually do when were out because he kept checkin up on me. its so bad now that gary was over last night and I couldnt even tell my boyfriend or anyone because they jump to conclusions. gary and I do have feelings for eachother but we will always be first and foremost friends. we talked bout everything last night we had a real heart to heart and I love him to bits, hes bringing me to his grad (prom) and yeah ther is moments, we do have moments but we ignore them and move on. im just sick of my boyfriend being so paranoid and jealous of how close we are and im just beginning to think, where is it going.. how long more will we last.. what do you think?? please share all your thoughts, thank you
