Could I be pregnant or could there be something else wrong?

I have always had regular periods and sometime it can come a day or two late which is normal for me. My last what I thought were periods have all come a week early and I get a good amout of clotting when I get my period and I have had none the last 3 periods and they have also been a lot lighter and only lasting half the time as my normal periods. I have 3 sons and I feel like I did when I was pregnant with them but I did a pregnancy test a week and a half ago which came out negative. I know I should get ahold of my doctor but I have been calling him for a few weeks with no responce and it’s hard to go to a walk-in clinic with all 3 of my kids. Has anyone else had this happen?

It was a week early the first time so I was calculating my next one from the date I ended up starting and then the next one was a week early again and then again. It’s like I have had them about every three weeks for the last three periods..but it is clean red blood no clotting which I normally have. When I was pregnant with my youngest son I had some bleeding but I found out I was pregnant with him right away from a dollar store pregnancy test at that. I bought a good one this time and I mean it was more than a week ago but it came out negative. I will definatly be getting another test and if it does come out negative again I will be right on going to the doctors.

Do you mean one period came early and now it seems to have settled into a new cycle of them all being early (e.g. there is still the normal time between them there was, but they all seem to have just shifted forward a week because that first one did) or is the gap between each one decreasing? I would get another home test. Women tend to be pretty intuitive about these things, but be aware you make be worsening the problem by getting stressed- this could cause the headache and change in periods.

Get a home test and keep trying the doctor. I think it is worth hiring a babysitter for a few hours or contacting a friend/ neighbour/ relative to look after your kids for a few hours, so you can at least go to the drop in centre. You need to find out what is going on asap, so just free up a little window of time and go in to get chacked out. Good luck.

I was just worried because it’s been the last 3 months and my periods are never early..if anything they are always late. On top of that I do have some pregnancy symptoms but they could be symptoms of a lot of other things too. I’ve had headaches and I don’t usually have them, backache , and my cramping for my normal periods usually put me on the couch for at least a day and I haven’t been in much pain for the past few periods. I don’t know maybe I’ll go grab another test tonight to see if it says anything different.

it is normal for that to happen keep trying for the doctor and if you already taken a pregnancy test do another one to make sure I dont think is anythink but just to be sure keep trying to ring the doctor xx
