Corey taylor

As most Maggots and Metalheads know,Corey Taylor is the lead vocalist for Slipknot and Stone Sour, but I want to know, which band do you think he’s better in and why?

Answer #1

well they’re two different kinds of music if you like more of the softer rock then you would want to listen to stonesour, but if you prefer metal then you would want to listen to slipknot. You can see that kind of softer rock in a few songs by slipknot like dead memories… but I personally prefer slipknot over stonesour

Answer #2

All I listen to is slipknot now basically, so obviously I like slipknot better. (haha, not to be racist,. but to shock you, I’m black :D) Anyway, if you like corey’s voice calm, just listen to songs like “Snuff.” You get the best of both worlds.

Answer #3

I like both bands. But I like Stone Sour better.. Reason? I don’t know really. That band just isnt like other ones… not a good reason.. .. but.. I like how his voice is more relaxed. haha I don’t know!.

Answer #4

Congrats freaknrican… you caught my “let’s see who’s pay attention” line. Good work! I’m proud of you… not many people catch on to those things haha

Answer #5

I’m personally(believe it or not) not a big fan of either bands, but I’d say Slipknot b/c…well, I dunno I just like that band more than the other

Answer #6

I love both bands. I think either band fits him just fine. It’s his choice. Slipknot is his first band and the one he’s been leading longest and Stone Sour is his side project so to speak. I’d say if he had to choose, he’d probably stay with Slipknot since he has been doing that longest. But then again hemight choose Stone Sour just to spice things up. Either way, Corey Taylor is amazing and both bands are bada*s.

Answer #7

Personally, I like both bands. I like Corey’s angry voice but I also like his other voice he uses in Stone Sour.

Answer #8

He’s better with slipknot just because how quickly he has to change from screaming to singing really fast

Answer #9

I think hes awesome in both…

Answer #10
