Answer #1

omfg the same exact thing happened to me.

I fell really bad like right when she walked out side. and now she dosnt want me to skate and I told her I wanted new weels and she said no. I was like what the f*ck. but I wasnt wearing a helmit or pads or anything I think thats why she got so freaked

If you emphatically assure her you will always wear the best safety equipment available at all times, and you will limit your moves to the less dangerous kinds, she might eventually give in.

it depends on your decks condition id say a lot of times people go out and buy one when they dont need to but if its say chipped a lot, or has cracks ect in it then its best to get a new one tell her its about safety. its safer riding a new deck than an old one thats broken or if she wont get one , get one yourself! as well as skate shops ect, sometimes you can find a good deck at a second hand store! I’ve got at least 40 I’ve picked up from them!

well im a skater girl too. and well I broke my arm alredy, but my dad still let me get a new baord and keep skateing. my mother dissapproved but I dont live with her, so I just ask my dad. ask your dad to get you a new one. that cud help. or ask your dad to convince your mom to buy you a new one. or you can also where helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads. it may seem dorky but at least ull b able to ride and not get hurt. my friend has to do that but he is happy he can skate, because he broke his arm to so now he HAS to wear all he padding lol
