How can I convince my parent's to let me have visual kei hair cut(japanese punk rock)?

I really want to have this hairstyle but it’s not too extreme and not too short. I really want this to express my self more but my parent’s are against it. I so i can be more confident since i’m expressing myself through my music abilities so i’m not afraid to put myself out since they are nagging me to do church band. I’m a girl . i have decent grades. This hair cut…

In my opinion, the hairstyle depicted is quite simply beautiful, and I don’t see how that has any significant bearing on nationality, cultural heritage, or ethnic identity.

At 16, you are not yet quite an adult with full autonomy to make your own decisions, nor are you any longer just a little child, still totally dependent upon your parents as the nurturing source of your opinions and character.

As a rapidly maturing young person, it is natural that the way in which YOU chose to present YOURSELF to society (especially your own peer group) is fundamental to the development of your emerging adult personality.

I could understand your parents attitude if they were objecting some outrageously bizarre eyesore that you proposed to turn yourself into, but suggesting that THAT lovely hairstyle is “… not normal …” is almost beyond belief.

Unfortunately, I suspect that such absurd prejudice will not be readily changed by any logical argument that I could present to them.

To be honest, (if I were you) I think I would just go out and get my hair cut and styled that way whether they liked it or not.
