Convicted felon looking for a job

Can you give me companies that will hire people with felonies?

Answer #1

One place to start would be your probation officer. They may know where previous people have found employment.

Also, trying a temp agency could work. They would place you in a variety of situations in which you could prove yourself and possibly get a full-time offer.

Answer #2

Plants, housekeeping, manual labor like construction or welding too. I don’t know much else. It’s easier to get hired when the nature of your offense isn’t considered violent.

Answer #3

Try a union hall. If you are willing to wait in a waiting room for hours a day for maybe sometimes a month before your name is called, most of these kinds of places will give you 1 chance.Go in keep your mouth shut and get into the union so your job is at least that much more secure. Then you can afford to pay for your own college courses. Knowlege is power so it makes since that the more school you go through the better the chance even a felon can get their dream job. As far as the stepping stone union halls are the best paying job an uneducated felon could hope for.
