Confused about my boyfriends past

im in a relationship with this guy who is married and has a child. They are seperated and have been for a while. His kid lives with the mom no where near here. I have meet his kid and fell completely in love but he just thinks im a friend. I have asked my boyfriend when he plans on getting divorced and he gives me an answer but its like he gets upset about it. I really fell for this guy and we spend our time together and even kinda live together. I want this to go somewhere but sometimes I feel like im the one that is gonna be hurt in the end. Hes a couple years older then me but hes been married and has a kid, something I know nothing about. I want to spend my life with him but sometimes it really gets to me that he is not officially divorced. I dont know what to do… =(

Well something you SHOULD know…normal parents are always going to put their child first…don’t matter how beautiful alluring or charming you are…your never going to replace his concern for his child…which could mean why he doesn’t want to get the divorce…thinking bout how his child is going to grow up with divorced parents…it’s good to remember NOT TO DATE or even THINK ABOUT MOVING IN with someone who is NOT SINGLE OR DIVORCED…because being tied up to something else means he can’t be commited to both you and a wife and child.And that’s a strain.SO unless your in it for the fun of it I suggest you don’t date married men.

I think until he truly resolves things with his x there is no way for you two to start a future, and maybe deep down he really wants his family back together and thats why you feel as though your not getting a straight answer
