What if I have a crush on my best friend's ex?

hey ok so my two best friends just broke up and I kinda started liking sean[[one of my bff’s]] but I know I shouldnt because meghan[[the other bff]] has been my best friends since pre-k but now I found out that he likes me we’ve been talking a lot and I need to stop liking him if meghan found out it would break her heart but I still really like him what should I do???

Ok, well how do you know Sean lkes you and Megan doesn’t know?? Mehh, well I think you should talk to Sean first. He seems quite a sound guy.

Is Megan over him though? If she is, then talk to him, tell him how you feel but make sure to let him know not to tell Megan yet. Talk to Megan then, tell her how it went when you talked to him and see how she feels about it all.

But - if she’s NOT over him, give her some space. To find that out, just either study her body-language when he’s around or just slip the question in the convo when it’s silent.

If meagan was really your best friend you wouldnt even think about dating her ex. That is just one of the friendship rules. Boys come and go friends are forever. Nice friend you are to even consider it. I wouldnt want you to be my friend with a friend like you who needs enemies. Who is to say they wont get back together and you will be all by yourself. is it worth it. Dont cross that road there are plenty of other boys in this world find one of your own.
