so my boyfriend and I have only been dating for about ten days and like he’s really sweet and I’ve known him for a long time, but all his friends are telling me that they think he’s just using me in order to make them jealous and using me for like making out and other crap. a lot of his friends think I’m hot though and some even want to date me so I’m not sure if they’re just trying to break us up or what? like I really like my boyfriend and all, I just dont wanna fall for him and get hurt cause its happened before and it sucks butt. and like he says he loves me and everything and like how he cant wait to see me and how amazing I am and stuff. so like do I listen to his friends cause they know him a little better than I do when it comes to girls and dating or do I listen to him and what he says? and like do you think cause he said he loved me so early its a sign he really doesn’t or doesn’t know what love means??? helpp pweaseee(:

Well lots og guys say those kind of things to get girls like you single so they can have a chance. its really up to you to talk to your boyfriend and confront him about what you have been told. Guys use the word love early in relationships for 2 reasons

  1. they really like you and they think if they say they love you, you will be with them longer.
  2. they just want action.

I think you should ask yur boyfriend bout it and have a meeting with him and his friends bout it.the same thing happened with my boyfriend and his friends and he really does love me.

okay.. if havin doubts about the people around the 2 of you, how they say it can be or whatsoever, then take into consideration the fact that you guys have been together in a very very short span of time, and I believe that you knew him little, well it’s all signs of a not-so-deep relationship.. his friends might be right that your present guy is just wantin you to get laid, but here’s what you’re gonna do.. if he loves you, there wouldnt be any sex until you’re ready, or until your first anniversary (monthsary is unacceptable)… test him, since I can sense that he’s foolin around, based on how you stated your story..

I just dont wanna fall for him and get hurt cause its happened before and it sucks butt>>Maybe you should take into consideration what his friends are saying if you dont wanna get hurt again. Believing everything your boyfriend is saying so early in the game is just being very gullable in my opinion. He loves you, and you’ve only been dating for a week & a half? I’m a lot older and those words never came out of mine, or my boyfriends mouth for many months! You really shouldnt take relationships so seriously at your age anyway. Just have fun, and dont take everything your boyfriend says to heart!
