How can I tell my crush how I feel?

ok im 17 and I really like this guy at my work. im a heavy girl and I want to tell him how I feel. we sorta flirt but then he turns into a jerk towards me. im so confused because my past relationships weren’t good at all so im kinda shy to ask out any guy. what should I do? PLEASE HELP!

i agree with funadvice; this guy sounds like he’s just flirting with you when its convenient for him but when he’s tired of it he flips a switch. you don’t need that despite how much you may like him. there are plenty of people who will like you for who you are as opposed to who they think you should be. the fact that you’ve had bad relationships in the past is a sign that you may have just been settling for something. like funadvice said, don’t compromise yourself for anyone, least of all a guy who can’t treat you how you should be. there’s no reason you should be shy to approach someone you’re interested in. the worst thing that could happen is that he could say he wasn’t interested but that’s bound to happen again, not just for you, but for everyone. everyone is going to be refused at some point. just keep holding your head up, remember you’re a great person with a lot to offer, and keep the thought up that you deserve something amazing.

You are a GREAT person. Never ever let anyone make you feel like less. If this guy flirts with you and then subsequently treats you badly, it sounds like he is just using you. Shame on him. You deserve a guy who treats you great all the time, not just when he feels like flirtring. This is tough, but if you can’t compromise yourself for a guy. I know how you feel, and I hope things work out for you. Just remember that you are who you are and there is someone out there who will apreciate you fully. Whether you find him today or years from now, don’t settle for less!!!
