Cone biopsy while pregnant

I am three months preg. With my second child. My doc wants to do another cone biopsy and another test name colposcopy, may have spelled it wrong. It all has to do with my cervix. I had cervical cancer once already and my pap came back abnormal and with traces of pre cancer cells. Is this safe to do while pregnant? I have had it done when I wasn’t pregnant and there is bleeding and such. I do not want to loose my baby. Has anyone ever got this done while pregnant? Has anyone refused getting it done while pregnant? Only answer if you have went through this.

While I was pregnant I found out I had HPV and had to have a colposcopy done (I was around 2 months). That procedure is safe. Although, they did find cells they were worried about and said they would not do a biopsy while I was pregnant because it was too risky, I had to wait until after I had my son. I have no clue why your doctor is suggesting you have a biopsy while you are 3 months pregnant, mine would not even consider it.
