I got a dell dimension 8200 and I want to buy a new cases for it would the parts in the dell computer fit in the new case.
Dell usually uses proprietary cases. That means that the mainboard will ONLY fit in a proper Dell case. Some of the components might fit in other systems, but as far as moving all the components to another case you are probably out of luck. If I was you, I would use the Dell as it is, and if I wanted to get a different case, I would build my own system, so that when I was finished I would have something new and up-to-date that I built. If you manage to put your Dimension 8200 in a new case, you STILL have a Dimension 8200! Have fun!
If you're confident in your ability to strip the chassis from the old case and safely reinsert the motherboard, drives and components, then you should probably know enough to not need to ask this question. In other words: if you're ASKING this question, you're probably not experienced enough to transfer the guts from one case to another.
why are you getting a different case? they aren't cheap, if you get a decent one, and your stock dell certainly won't benefit from a better tower. are you just trying to make it look cooler? just a thought...
depends on the tower size there are small medium and large, most computers are medium, large and small are mostly used for custom built computers.
I want to get a new case because I want to upgrade the mother board and all that
yes if you find the right side case
what size do I need
