complicated why is she mad?

ok so my so calle dbest friend is like my sister or was and she has this huge crush on this guy well call him mat well she couls never actuallyget the guts to tlk to him until on day mat txted her and was like hey (lets call her kaate) kate what are you doing? and they tlk only thru txtn for 4 days then on friday when one of my friends was absent she told me and “alex” that he asked her something but she could only tell one person and then she wrote a note to alex and alex said omg hes got tp b desperate! so I knew he either asked if “hailey” or I liked him wich niether of us do and then after schoool I get a txt from hailey saying did mat ask kate something? and I simply said yea but he said she could only tell one person and she told alex and she was like shes swaering he didnt assk anything and stuff and I was like why would she lie about it its noo big deal soo hailey calls her and was like I know he asked something so just tell me you lied and katee was like yea he did and hejust told me I could tell you and you can tell sandra(me) annd he asked me if you like him and she hung up and then kate txts me saying why did you tell her I was like I didnt know it was a secret you never said I couldnt tell her and she was like I cant trust anyoone but alex any more and all this other stuffthen on monday she didnt talk to me or hailey and then we ound out that “emily” knows what mat asked kate and no one but us 3 was suppossed to know so I don’t know she hasnt tlked to us in a week… didd we do something wrong bc kate has always been the one to sart a fight abouut nothing just for attention
