Complaining about weight

Why do people complain so much about their weight and go on all of these crazy eat whatever you want diets, and diet pills when all they have to do is eat right? I mean if you drink milk and juice and avoid things like coffee, frapachino’s, latte’s, sodas, etc. and you eat fruits and vegetables instead of chicken, turkey, steak, pork, hot dogs etc, then you could eat as much as you want and not even think about gaining wait, except for when you hear these annoying commercials about weight loss. I eat a healthy diet and I don’t even have to excercise. I am 5 foot 9 and about 115 pounds. I don’t have to work hard at all to lose weight and I don’t have to work hard to gain weight. I am in equilibrium. Why don’t people just try a healthy diet of fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, dairy products and such? Please give suggestions. Thank You.

you are very lucky to have a high metabolism also. some people have a hard time losing weight for numerous reasons. just like “get rich quick” schemes are appealing… “lose a ton of weight fast” is going to attract the same type of people. it is our nature to go down the path we think has the least resistance.

its just a bunch of fatasses or people who dont want to get fat

and it doesnt matter what you eat as long as you work it off in the end

I don’t complain about weight, and I would NEVER not eat meat, esp red meat and shrimp. I love those too much. Besides, what is good for your body and easy for you to do may not be so easy for another person. I think that even if I was overweight, I would rather go running or swimming rather than restrict my diet.

It’s hard for some people. I guess you wouldn’t understand unless you have ever been overweight. You may think it’s simple, but it’s really not. It’s changing your lifestlye that you’re not use too. And some people may be actually addicted to food. I also agree with the two people above me.

But yes, back to your question - I think most people lack the discipline and just love food too much. It doesn’t help that fast food is everywhere and so many people don’t even bother to cook any more. If both parents are working and don’t have time to cook, they pick up things on the way home, chicken and fries, big bottle of coke, and there it starts
