Why am I not comfortable with showing my feet in front of my boyfriend?

it’s normal for girls to feel uncomfortable in sowing their feet in front of guys. i know i wouldn’t take off my shoes when guys are around

Well, you already said they werent ugly so that’s not it, maybe you could just start facing your fears and let em show and if you get a good reaction from him you may just overcome this thing.

I suggest taking this bull by the horns: Give your boyfriend a long, sensuous foot massage and then have him do the same for you. Transform your feet and his from a marginal and weird/funny part of your bodies into the center of loving attention.

I’m not sure what your age has to do with it, but the rest of your comment suggests that this is about more than just letting your feet show. Do you generally find feet repulsive? If so, any idea why? Do you remember what first started you feeling that way, or when it began?

You probably don’t like the way your feet look, and hey, a ton of people are just like you. You probably are just worried he won’t like them either. I doubt you have anything to worry about. He probably likes you just fine, feet and all.

i just hate feet.. and i hate touching peoples feet.. and i hate it when they touch mine.. i am comfortable with showing my feet around my friends who are girls.. just not boys.. idk why.. its who i am. i cant really help it..

Your first question was about how you could get comfortable with showing your feet. Maybe you need to get more comfortable with them yourself first, before you feel ok about showing them to a guy. You did say that you love your feet. How do you feel about touching them yourself? Maybe you can get more comfortable with them by closer contact? Sounds to me like you may not know this, but foot massages can feel very, very good. (If you’re Christian, there’s even a kind of sanction for it in the Christian Bible, where Jesus and the disciples washed each other’s feet as a way to show respect and affection.) You could try doing that for yourself, and see if it helps you get to know your feet better and feel more at ease with them.

well okay, its hard so weirdd.. to me tho.. cause i hate the way feet look.. i think they look stupid.. but uhmm i havnt been wearing socks in front of him and he is fine.. so i am comfortable now. but thnx.. i hvnt been wearing socks for about a few weeks and feel comfortable and normal

get a peticure and wear sum nice sandals to dress them up. most ppl hav feet and they all practicly look the same anyways. show them off now cuz wen ur old they will be rough, wrinkly and ugly. enjoy them while u can :)

Don’t worry, I’m like that with my nose. Lots of people tell me they wish they had my nose but I just don’t think it looks good. I can’t hide it but I never pull my hair back because I’m afraid it looks weird. Just remember that everybody’s got something.
